It wouldn't have been an easy job to bleach the reality TV star's hair to the bright blonde she got it to - and it appeared to require a lot of up-keep.
Kim frequently posted pictures of herself having the blonde toned with a purple conditioner - and it looks like it all got too much for the star.
It's thought she updated her locks late yesterday, and fans who followed in her footsteps will no doubt be disappointed the look only lasted three weeks.
It remains to be seen if she will have hair extensions woven in to bring back the length of her locks before the the cut - but at the moment Kim is favouring a simple, classic ballet bun.\
